"Muse Series - Pink" is abstract and expressive, built from organic line work rather than florals. She's one of several paintings I created as part of my Muse series.

In each Muse painting, I plan the face and let everything else grow intuitively. Here, that takes the form of flowing lines, like the emotions we sense before we can name them: feeling without seeing. Is she the muse, or is she being inspired? I've never decided.

Original watercolor + pen painting.
